The Bluenose BoSox Brotherhood was founded early in the year 2005 by a handful of Nova Scotian Red Sox fans in a small restaurant in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Since that time, it has grown to over 200 members and stretches from Cape North to Cape Sable Island. Besides meeting on a social basis, the group also has three charitable missions. They include; the Jimmy Fund, a Red Sox charity, which raises money for cancer research, the IWK Children’s Hospital in Halifax and Minor Baseball in Nova Scotia. Our organization takes great pride in having raised thousands of dollars for these causes.

The Bluenose BoSox Brotherhood takes great pride in having convinced the Red Sox to bring the 2007 World Series Trophy to Nova Scotia and working with the Red Sox to hold the first Nova Scotia Day at Fenway Park since 1962.
