The Nova Scotia Government yesterday announced a partnership with the Boston Red Sox which will see a Nova Scotia Day at Fenway Park on May 18th as well as a ova Scotia weekend in Boston to promote Nova Scotia tourism to the New England market. The weekend will be filled with events highlighting Nova Scotia and will culminate with a Nova Scotia Day at Fenway for a game with the Detroit Tigers vs the Sox. Also it was announced the Red Sox will be bringing the World Series Trophy to Nova Scotia for the days June 4 and 5. In conjunction with this event the partners are sponsoring a contest which will see two lucky people enjoy a weekend in Boston via the ferry to take in Nova Scotia Day. There is not an organized group heading down, but I believe the Department of Tourism has a block of tickets in a certain area . I was hoping to have a link for those now but hopefully by the first of the week we will have something posted. We have numerous Boston members on our facebook page and will try to get them to set up something at one of the local spots before the game on Sunday if there is enough interest. Stay tuned.
